In 2024, Ekofarma PROBIO established a new agroforestry system in Velké Hostěrádky as part of its landscape adaptation and climate resilience strategy. The system covers 8.78 hectares of arable land and integrates 866 newly planted trees, 65 shrubs and 12 existing trees into productive farmland. This year, the farm completed the first cereal harvest within the agroforestry system. The harvest showed that the system is fully compatible with agricultural production, with 24-metre-wide cropping alleys, 12-metre headlands and buffer zones designed to support both farm management and ecological functions.
